Yes, a $100 (non-refundable but transferable) deposit is due upon booking and the remainder will be due 7 days before the session.

I schedule almost all of my shoots local to Waxhaw/Monroe/Matthews areas and have several wonderful locations available where I love to shoot. However, I am always open to your ideas and preferences if you have a venue in mind! I do charge an additional fees for traveling outside of my normal 15 mile shooting radius.

Lighting, lighting, lighting! I know that scheduling a golden hour session can be challenging with bedtimes, work, traffic...but trust me, its 100% worth it! That amazing lighting happens twice a day and trust me, it is magic!

I love when clients ask this question and I love to help you decide! I always encourage coordinating (but definitely not matching) outfits. Lean towards earth tones and neutrals because of I have warm editing style but the most important thing to me is that you feel beautiful and like yourself. But please always ask me if you need help and we can make outfit selections together! I have a styling guide that I will share with you via email after booking that will help you begin building your session wardrobe. P.S. did you know I have a client closet (women's, girl's and maternity)? This is available to you with every booking (with the exception of minis).

My client closet is available with every full session booked (minis are excluded). If you are interested in borrowing a dress for your session, I will send you a link after booking to help you make your selections! And yes, you can choose more than one!

Unless there is a purpose to changing outfits (like in the case of in-water pictures) then it usually just takes up precious time from the photoshoot. The exception to this is branding photoshoots as I do believe a variety of outfits can be beneficial for website and social media development.

Maternity sessions should take place between 28 and 36 weeks. For twins, it should be between 24 and 30 weeks. Newborn sessions should take place within the first 2 weeks after birth. However, I know life sometimes does not go according to plan so if we need to schedule later than that, don't let it deter you! It may be slightly different than a 10 day old session, but no less precious to capture!

I have plenty of indoor locations I can offer for your newborn session including studios, home rentals and greenhouses. And depending on time of year, outdoor is always a beautiful option!

We can reschedule! If it is simply cloudy, I will continue with the session as planned. But for rain/storms/strong winds, we can absolutely reschedule for a better weather window (unless you feel adventurous and want to embrace a rainy session, I am always game!)

You will have the easy option to order high quality prints directly from the online gallery I will send you! But you are welcome to order prints from anywhere you prefer once you download the gallery.

I book a limited number of events every year. If you have an event that you are interested in booking my services for, please send me a message to check availability. My event fee begins at $350/hr with a minimum of 3 hours.

Typically, family and maternity sessions are 60-90 minutes, newborn session are 2+ hours. However, I do not set a time limit on sessions because I do not want the clock to interfere with the magic!
